“What do you love most about Christian Science?” is a question we asked participants at the recent TMC Youth Summit in Hamburg, Germany.  We didn’t just hear “What Christian Science has done for me” but how students are living and sharing Christian Science as a universal teaching that belongs to everyone.  We also heard some inspiring examples of healing, including how two infants’ lives were forever changed by Christian Science after being abandoned at birth.  Check out the video and let us know what YOU love most about Christian Science.  And if you’d like to be a part of this global church community, visit christianscience.com/membership to find out how.  You can also download a membership application and email it in today!

    This video made me happy …. Full of the joy of God present now and always available to all. These young thinkers have a lot to share with our church family and the world.  Not business as usual but proper zeal for the good news of the gospel and Christian Science.

  2. Bruce Higley says:

    TRULY INSPIRING, UPLIFTING, & ENCOURAGING !!!   It brings to mind Mrs. Eddy’s assertion (Science & Health, p. 236) :  ”While age is halting between two opinions or battling with false beliefs, youth makes easy and rapid strides towards Truth.”   It’s obvious here that wisdom & understanding are not ONLY products of the passage of time!!   It’s good to know nothing can ever reverse or negatively affect all the good seen, heard, and felt in this beautiful video!  God’s goodness is brightly shining through these young witnesses and divine Love protects and maintains that in us all.  The future of the Christian Science movement will be in very “good hands” with inspired youths such as these because they’re clearly putting this movement, and themselves, in God’s hands—-as we ALL can do daily!  Heartfelt thanks to all in this invigorating video, and to those who made it possible.  Keep ‘em coming !!!

  3. Archie M Waugh says:

    “JESUS,THE ONLY SAVIOR GOD”   O Jesus, joy of saints on high, Thou hope of sinners here, Attracted by those loving words, To thee I lift my prayer.   Wash thou my wounds in that dear blood Which forth from the doth flow New grace new hope inspire a new And better heart bestow.   JESUS, who gave himself for You, Upon the Cross to die, Opens to You His sacred Heart; O..To that Heart draw nigh.   Ye hear how kindly He invites; Ye hear His words so blest - All ye that labor come to me, And I’ll give you rest…!!! everlastingly at it,

  6. Thank you so much, Time4Thinkers for this absolutely magnificent field report from the Hamburg Summit.  Fortunately I opened it yesterday morning and it became my testimony at our Wednesday meeting,  And it was just last Sunday!  How new is that?  How fresh off the press!  Our TMC membership is our most priceless treasure, and it blesses all, all the time, all at once!

  7. Bruce says:

    So grateful you-all put this together.  It vibrantly shows how many young people are grasping the basic truths of Christian Science and feeling the genuine, spiritual love.  This is a sign of the true brotherhood of man – under the one Father-Mother God, and they will carry this forward in their lives to bless the entire world.

  8. mclean says:

  9. Gil Bird says:

    What a great video and what a great message! I really appreciated the straightforward approach of those in the video; no flowery language, but just basic, down to earth, heart to heart communication and witnessing for Truth. I love the enthusiasm  and willingness to shine, expressed by these youth. Thanks so much to all of them for being there in Hamburg and thank you to TMC Youth.

    keep the Love flowing! CS has changed my life. Found it in collge when i was 19…almost 50 years ago!

  11. judith bruce says:

    I love what the young girl (brown eyes/short hair/a few piercings) said about sharing Christian Science with any Faith – to let people know that the Truth is for anyone,  runs through all of us, and can actually help an individual with their own Faith.  All these years, and I’ve never thought about taking that approach when talking with someone of another Faith.  Good for this girl – and good for all those students on the video.

  12. John Wyckoff says:

    These comments are very heart warming.  I so enjoyed listening to them. MORE, MORE, MORE,  please more.

  13. Anni from Berlin says:

    This is a great video; it makes me so grateful!   Why I love Christian Science ?  Because it is radical, and because it demands me to really trust unreservedly; it teaches in a scientific way how the Divine is at the same time LOVE and PRINCIPLE;  Christian Science lets me feel God’s nearness, yea my oneness with the Eternal, as idea with the only MIND.  And it is so wonderful to know that neither God nor Christian Science is abstract but as practical and applicable and enjoyable as the sunshine that enlightens and warms the world – and me.  My deep desire is to grow in my understanding of the infinite laws in order to be a helper for humanity. There is nothing like this law of all encompassing Love.

  14. Shannon Wells says:

    This is precious!  I so appreciate the love and connection they feel to each other, to Christian Science and the world.  They are beautiful expressions of the Christ.  Thanks for sharing.

    • Barb Grubert says:

      I’m going to show this video to our high school Sunday School class. We have been talking about church membership and it’s so inspiring to see these young people who love Christian Science so much and want to heal and share it with others! Membership is such a wonderful way to unite with others in doing that very thing!

  20. Marilyn says:

    This video illustrates the truth in Mary Baker Eddy’s statement in Science & Health that “Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals” and this truth from Mis that “We have nothing to fear when Love is at the helm of thought, but everything to enjoy on earth and in heaven.”  It’s wonderful to think about all the good that is unfolding for ourselves and all mankind and how our spiritual practices are forwarding this good – promoting a world that is peaceful, harmonious, blessed.

  21. jerome stanley says:

    This video is undoubtedly one of the most inspiring collections of testimonials that I have ever witnessed.  The youthful approach here to Christian Science is so refreshing.  I am from the older generation.  I joined the Mother Church in 1960.  And I attribute to Christian Science the positive experience that I had as a soldier during the Vietnam period.  Also, I know that Christian Science has led me through my career and my relationships with many people.  as this video says, Love is the answer.

  22. Sarah Kelly says:

    What an inspiring video with all those young fresh faces expressing Scientific truth as they’re applying it and living it!  Thank you for posting this!

  23. Onward and Upward says:

    Joining in membership with The Mother Church over 18 years ago was the best decision I ever made!  I had no idea, at the time ,what spiritual blessings would come from that decision, nor how my life would expand in service to others, but membership has been bedrock to all the good experienced.  I love the enthusiasm and honesty expressed in this video and it inspires me to thank every fellow member of The Mother Church for making the decision to join in membership and to everyone else, I’ll let a verse from a favorite hymn speak for me:

    Onward, then, ye people,
    Join our happy throng;
    Blend with ours your voices
    In the triumph-song;
    Glory, laud and honor
    Unto Christ the King;
    This through countless ages
    Men and angels sing.

    (Hymn 264, Christian Science Hymnal)

  24. Stephen CalkinsKeyes says:

    What’s so great about Christian Science is learning to see everybody and everything (All-in-All) as God good and loving the view!  Whew Hoo!  Alleluia!
