I am touched. The chapter in the Bible from 1st Corinthians 13 is part of my sorority's creed. We read it a lot to support the idea of sisterhood, along with passages from "The Greatest Thing in the World" by Henry Drummond. I was reading the Christian Science Bible Lesson this morning and suddenly I saw a lot of ideas about getting out of "bondage". Wow. "Sensualism is not bliss, but bondage" S&H p. 18. The opposite is Spirit "imparts all bliss". S&H p. 253. God plucks my feet out of the net, Mind is fetterless, and "Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free" from the Bible. But my favorite idea is "...no love is lovely...but the good God bestows." S&H p. 275. Somehow I am really wanting a love that is "lovely". I suppose everyone does.
