I really enjoyed the Real Talk chat boxes tonight. I liked an idea that James shared. I’ll quote it here:

God’s qualities within us are naturally attracted to qualities within someone else. To me this takes away the personal sense, pressure and all that junk…

I’ve never thought about “attraction” or this passage in that way. It makes total sense to me! I think that’s why we feel that we “blend” well with someone because of the spiritual qualities we have.

Personal sense or the material senses wants to say your “soul mates” or it’s “destiny” or any of these other terms. But recognizing that it’s spiritual qualities is so simple! And it shows it’s not about the “person” at all. It’s about how God created each of us and how that naturally attracts us to the right job, friends, relationships, city, etc.

I love that. Thanks for all the great inspiration and questions that were shared tonight. Does anyone else have a favorite passage or idea they gained tonight? Or an experience you want to share?
