Janet Horton
Janet was a military chaplain for 28 years. She met heavy resistance as one of the first women chaplains for the Army — but persevered, winning honors for her courage and dedication. On 9/11, she talked her way into ground zero, the inner courtyard of the flaming Pentagon, in order to pray with and care for the wounded. Janet is now writing a book about her spiritual adventures from her home base in Florida.
