God has built a higher platform of human rights, and He has built it on diviner claims.

Human codes, genetics, evolution…or divine Mind and Love —what do we claim as our creator? Go for the latter, because there we are one —one in parentage, one in action, one in all of life. This higher view breaks the bonds of slavery of every sort whether it be societal limits, addiction, depression, economic, etc.
God’s view —that higher, spiritual ground —awakens the awe in each of us as we see each individual as valuable, beautiful, intelligent. This is the view that shows us we are free born.

I really like this idea of being a waiting harp string. I’ll be thinking about that one a lot.

I was interested in the reference to the harp playing that David did with Saul that restored him to health. I had a dear loved one last week that became suddenly ill, and when another relative expressed some scepticism that she could be helped through prayer by a practitioner, I thought about Mary Baker Eddy’s hymn, O’er Wating Harp Strings. The last verse states: My prayer some daily good to do to thine for thee; an offering pure of love whereto, God leadeth me. I knew that our prayers are powerful, effective and do heal, because they come from God. My relative was back on her feet in about a day. I had read an article recently in a CS periodical in which the person spoke of thinking about herself as a waiting harp string of the Mind, listening for the angel thoughts that would assist with her healing.
