Currently living between Austin TX, and LA, Michelle Armstrong is no stranger to establishing her compelling musical presence throughout the U.S..  Michelle is represented by the record label Playing in Traffic Records, and Loophole Management. She recently recorded an EP with Grammy Award Winning Producer, Frenchie Smith, and is continuing to grow, write, and record with her new rock band (former members of The Steps) in Austin, TX.

Raised in Southern California, since the age of four, she was busy studying voice, which has the strength and rock- power to shake a house. And since her teens, songwriting evolved to be her second force, having released two albums and written hundreds of songs. Michelle has since lived & performed in New York, Chicago, North Carolina, Savannah GA, and Austin TX, whose stages and musical relationships have all influenced the versatility and inspiration of her gifted songwriting, blending pop/rock and blues sensibilities.

Song Title:

Unfallen

Lyrics:

I am a good child
born of God’s breath
whatever would try to shake me
deliver me Almighty One

I am free man
not a corrupt man
joyful in my Spirit
glorious and sinless, man.

Show me the ways of purity
Teach me thy paths, where I’m to be
A lamb of God, never will stray out on his own
God is my stay, I’m not alone
There’s never a chance of falling

My work is honest
righteous and holy
finding my dominion
even in my troubled hour

Show me the ways of purity
Teach me thy paths, where I’m to be
A lamb of God, never will stray out on his own
God is my stay, I’m not alone
There’s never a chance of falling

I am a good child
I am free man
My work is honest
I am un-fallen

Michele: How I celebrate the progress of this song since the first time I heard it at the St. Louis Youth Summit. Many times I have heard this song singing in my prayer and not always remembered where I first heard it. So it is wonderful to have it attributed. To defend innocence as the core of our being is to find the authority over the things not in accord with the innocence. So grateful for this support to mankind. Love from Chicago.

  6. Debnet says:
